We’re back with a bang this season!!!

It seems that last winter’s polar vortex helped to inspire designers for Fall 2014. The retro motifs take us back to the 60s and 70s bringing forth furs and layers, all intensified by a vibrant color palette, and simple but bold patterns.

With those ideas in mind we came across the perfect accessory to bring a subtle pop to your look: the Derek Lam Patchwork Fold-over Clutch. Definitely this fall’s must-have piece.

Dior Debut

July 28th, 2012 • "Daily Front Row", General

Hands down, the highlight of my summer fashion travels was the Christian Dior Haute Couture show in Paris. The show, which took place in a gorgeous Parisian mansion, was the debut collection for Raf Simons, the long anticipated successor to John Galliano. As homage to Christian Dior’s obsession with flowers, four separate salons were filled with over ONE MILLION fresh flowers from floor to ceiling, each in a different dominating color. Who does our fave golden girl have her eye on these days? Neapolitan’s very own Kelly Golden writes to Chic about the designer that’s rocking her world right now.

“After a season that’s been congested with florals and prints, I’m currently investing in more discreet, classic pieces that I can hang onto for years. My inspiration is designer Kate Brierley. Her beautiful collection called ‘Isoude’ has been praised for its ‘fine craft and artistry in a world of mass production.’  I love the Read More

Recently, women have been flocking to Neapolitan to customize their summer wardrobe with ShellKare’s collection of breezy tunics, tops, and dresses. The customer reflects her personal style by choosing extras like beading, semi-precious stones, and embroidery colors. It’s a fantastic way to truly own Read More

It’s undeniable: this spring is all about color blocking. While this trend has been around for two seasons, it’s still gaining momentum. Color blocking is a great way to incorporate a trend while still buying wearable pieces. You’re able to brighten your wardrobe with cheery, unexpected color combinations. For those who are just getting their feet wet, consider buying a color block blouse or tee and pairing it with a neutral on the bottom. This way you’re not necessarily investing Read More

What does Neapolitan owner Kelly Golden consider “the ultimate coffee table topper”? Hint! It has something to do with fashion and gorgeous dresses.

“Neither the price nor the windy city weather could stop Chicago’s fashion set from swooping up signed copies of the book, The Impossible Collection of Fashion, when Valerie Steele came into town last week for a book signing and fashion show put on by neapolitan collection. This book, Read More
